Sewn, and custom quilted by Nancy Rink using the “Rattlesnake” paper piecing template by Karen Stone in EQ.
I used dozens of fabrics in shades of red, grey, taupe, black, and lights that coordinated with a stylish border stripe fabric. Triangle wedges were sewn to a melon shaped paper foundation, then trimmed and sewn together with two matching “background” pieces. Paper was then removed, blocks arranged, then sew together in rows. Semi-custom quilted with a freehand swirl across the blocks and double-line piano keys in border using a taupe-grey thread.
100% cotton fabric. Cotton blend batting.
I am currently reducing my collection of quilts made over several decades and hope to find homes where they will be loved and appreciated.
All quilts will arrive in a cotton storage bag, then wrapped in plastic for shipping, and will include care and laundering instructions.
