Strip-pieced blocks in a variety of fabrics are displayed in a unique tilted setting in this striking quilt.
Fabrics include poppies set on red, black and cream backgrounds along with a variety on companion prints. A checkerboard border completes the quilt.
Akimbo is machine quilted in an all-over design using red thread.
Designed, sewn, and quilted by me, Nancy Rink.
Quilt has only been used for display purposes and has never been washed.
I am currently reducing my collection of quilts made over several decades and hope to find homes where they will be loved and appreciated.
All quilts will arrive in a cotton storage bag then wrapped in plastic and will include care and laundering instructions.
